Guitar Lesson Overview

An acoustic blues guitar lesson for you. Something you can strum along with and play on the porch, or anywhere. It has a little bass line thing in it that sounds good and makes it more fun to play.

A 12 bar blues progression played in the key of E. It has a little bass line move in it too, to make it more fun to play. The chords used in a 12 bar blues in E are: E, A and B. Often we use E7, A7 and B7, because they sound "bluesier". Enjoy!

My Guitar SongbookThe Tab and Notation files are my own work and represent my interpretation of the songs. These files are put together and formatted in Notepad, transformed to MS Word and converted to pdf format to save or print the composition.

The Song audio files are gathered from my personal music library. I do not own the copyright of the songs and audio files, all rights belong to the copyright holders – no copyright infringement is intended.

The Lick samples are gathered from talented online teachers and tabbed in the key in which they were found. Many have been transposed in the Key of Am - at the 5th fret (a popular key when playing the Blues) or the Key of Em - the "guitar key" (all open strings belong to this scale and the most common key for Delta Blues).
